Join us for Christmas at St Peter's Walsall.  We're looking forward to sharing the joy of Christmas with you. Come and celebrate the birth of Jesus and think about what it means for us today.

Our Christmas services times are listed here - feel free to come along to anything that catches your eye.

Christingle

Sunday 14th December 10:30am

Christingles are a popular way of telling the story of God's love for us using oranges, sweets, red ribbon and candles. The Christingles will be made during this service. It is aimed at people of all ages. When they're ready, the Christingles will be given out and lit. This is always a really special moment. We'll be sharing Holy Communion as part of this service.

Reflective Carol Service

Wednesday 17th December 11am

This is a more traditional service with carols and Bible readings that tell the Christmas story. There will be plenty of time and space for reflection. This service might be particularly appropriate if you're finding it harder to celebrate this year for whatever reason.

After the service, there's the opportunity to stay for lunch and singing by the local school choir. Please contact us if you are planning to attend the lunch.

Nativity and Carols

Sunday 21st December 10:30am

At our nativity service, we'll follow Mary & Joseph, shepherds and magi as they journey to the manger. If you want to, you're welcome to come dressed up as a character from the Christmas story. There will be plenty of carol singing too.

This service is usually lots of fun, very informal and slightly unpredictable.

Christmas Day Communion

Christmas Day 10:30am

This is an all-age service of Holy Communion to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Saviour of the world.  We'll hear the story of Jesus' birth and think about what it means for us today. This service will last around 1 hour.
